Rave #4: The (Irish?) Jonathan Rhys Meyers
I have no idea why but I came across a clip from the movie Match Point on youtube and instantly fell for this actor that I don't think I've ever watched before but man is he hot: Jonathan Rhys Meyers (JRM). Why have I never noticed him before? He claims he's Irish, but he changes his accent so many times that he might as well be America, British, or Welsh even. Personally, I found it a little weird to hear him launch into his Irish accent during an interview for 'The Tudors' (where he plays a -much less fat- Henry VIII) after hearing his mysterious British one in Match Point - but then I got over that-- who knew irish guys could be so appealing? haha. And then I saw that movie Octane (that I have also never seen- why am I so out of date with everything?) with him and Mischa Barton who apparently gets all the hot movie guys (I mean look at The OC) and where JRM plays a..well I don't know what he plays exactly but it looks like some sort of gothic..bad guy? Ok that doesn't sounds that great, but if you watch his movies, you'll see that he has a charm about him, as well as being flirtatious and one heck of an actor. <3 xxx Clip up top is taken from the Golden Globes. Rave #3: Dragonball.  JUST KIDDING! No, seriously. Do not watch this movie. For one thing, it's terrible. And for another...it's terrible. Just really, really bad. And I don't often say that about movies but seriously, I want my 8 ringgit back. So anyway, no what I really wanted to say was, I just finished reading two great books. One was Twilight (YES, yes I know I'm completely outdated and should have read it about a million years ago but hey what can I say) and after such great reviews from both critics and my friends (any difference?) I had some pretty high expectations for this book that were definitely surpassed. I mean, the love between Bella and Edward? Phenomenal. I mean - can't believe I'm saying this - it actually makes you want to have a vampire suck your blood. In a loving way, of course. Oh, and the book is definitely not ruined by the fact that I've already watched the movie. Twice. * * *  And the second book that I loved reading was called 'Privelege', written by one of my favourite authors, Kate Brian (she wrote 'Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys' which in my mind is pure genius - teenage girl goes to live with a rowdy bunch of hot guys and falls for about 3 of them). It's a follow up to the 'Private' series (which happens to include about 6 murders, lots of rumours, money, drugs and hidden secrets, all seen through the eyes of a troubled scholarship girl going to this immensely posh boarding school for elites). Basically, in 'Privelege', the girl who was uncovered to have murdered her boyfriend-slash-notorious drug addict and womanizer (thanks britney) after she caught him cheating on her with scholarship girl got sent to an insane asylum. And we read about her carefully planned escape, stolen identity and murderous schemes to get back the 'life she deserves'. Hmm. Serious stuff. So yeah, I would definitely recommend YOU to read this. Yes, you. You won't regret it. xxx

word.  Now, I admit that I've been a little less than productive these days, what with the lack of school and work (and friends since they all left, grr) but the last two days have been quite busy so I feel like I've made up for it already. Sunday I had a photoshoot which was a lot of fun, if not embarrassing (wearing a long blonde wig, fake eyelashes and huge shades and walking through warisan at midday? Haha that was funny...felt so weird but crazy and fun at the same time, can't wait to see what I look like with blonde hair :s :b). But hey, the people workin with me were all really friendly and cool. And they'll make good shots for my portfolio (if I had one). And monday morning didn't feel like a monday morning, if you get what I mean. Since I went to the islands early morning (another day that I didn't wake up at 3pm? This has to be the start of something) and stayed there most of the day. It was hot and sunny, that was good. I realised my long-lost love for ABC (well its always better on the beach) and jet-skiing (which I didn't do, but I remembered that I really wanted to go on one sometime). So all in all, a good few days. Oh! And I had dance class today with 7 other people, beats the month before when there was just two of us, one on some days. Though of course there's more pressure, and I completely mucked up all the steps. But oh well. Fun. Not much planned for the rest of this week. I know this because guess what time I woke up today? Well, I'm downloading episode 9 of Skins right now from that lifesaver on youtube, xbaybeesugs who uploaded all recent episodes of the amazing series. Seriously, if you haven't yet watched Skins, you should because it's one heck of a TV show. And it's English (yay)-- convert, convert!! Rave #2. : Larz and Marley So I heard about the phenomenal dutch 'Larz and Marley' duo a while back, but I just thought that I'd share a few (well, two) of their dance videos to you, in case you missed them on youtube. 'Lovestoned' was taken from when Marley was only 10!* and now, she's 12. (second vid, latest). Rave #1: Luke Pasqualino   rave#1 Freddie from SKINS AKA the lush Luke Pasqualino. Oh yeah, you knew it was coming. So. So far, I have asked at least 3 of my male friends and they have all admitted to this half-italian stallion being a little more than hot. Personally, I like the fact that a: he's tall, b: he's italian and c: he has the most amazing lips. I'm serious! When he smokes on the show (it's a pretty VERY liberal show)I could just about melt. AND, he plays a good-natured, black-sheep-of-the-family skating college kid, who's constantly trying to get the unattainable girl (possibly snatching her out of the clutches of his serial lover best friend?) so...what could be better? :b well if I was Effy, I wouldn't stay with Cook to be honest. Who wants a guy that "surfs and turfs" more than he breathes on most occasions? Well...I think it was a good idea that the lovely Freddie went a bit off his rocker and got with the 'evil' twin Katie for a while, if only to show Effy what she was missing. Which was, in my opinion, a lot. Now, rightly or wrongly, this sex god just so happens to be dating the girl that plays his sister on Skins. Erm, that's a little weird. Yeah, it's...normal? But just weird. I don't think I'm gonna be able to watch another episode of Skins when they have a one-on-one conversation the same way again. Oh, and apparently if you meet him in person, he's a nice guy and has been known to kiss girls on the forehead. Mmm..I'm no stalker or anything but I wonder where he lives...? :bx want more proof?
